With all the updates, versions of builds, mods, and updates It's hard to believe how far Minecraft has come. Although the full game was released in 2011, it was still available in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget how much has come and gone since then particularly if you haven't played the game since it first came into the world. Fortunately, this new trailer provides a stunning glimpse into all that's changed.
This is a fan-created version of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted their updated version of Mojang's initial big tease and it's an absolute delight to watch, especially when you compare it with the original. It follows the same path as the official version, but highlights all the new features biomes, features, and other elements that have been added to the game over the last decade.

It does a better job of promoting the game due to of the new content. Also, as user LennyTheSpider points out, RedAdventurer11 actually made a purpose of presenting the major updates in order. Minecraft Servers This segment lasts for 58 seconds and features the ice spikes that begin at 1.7 and ocean monuments beginning at 1.8 and the end-of-the-city-fights starting at 1.9.
It's a nice little detail that helps to create a sense progression and time into the video. It's not something RedAdventurer11 was expecting people to be aware of, however, the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. The new trailer is a delightful piece of nostalgia, and it's impossible not to smile when you watch it.
