Marsh met with Bryan Benedict, designer for Mattel, to discover the answer! Marsh didn't ask Bryan about engines but Marsh is the brains behind this company.
Marsh: Can you tell me more about your journey to Mattel and Hot Wheels?
Bryan Benedict: Before joining Mattel, I spent ten-years in the car industry designing real cars. I studied automotive design at ArtCenter and after 10 years in the field, Mattel actually reached out to me in the middle of the night and asked if I'd be interested in joining their team here. It sounded like a great possibility and I've not regretted a moment of it since. It's been a blast!
