Your concentration definitely focuses on faces and words, as it's a recognizable part of the work you've done so far. Does it have to do with song quotes and making them into artwork? For this work, it's a bit hard to see the words, as the red blends into the pink. But the eerie smile and wide eyes gives a feeling that I should run before they run me through with a knife (haha).

The tomatoes' stems holding up the chalice gives a precarious feeling that shows how much effort it is to have a perfect performance. For me, it took a moment for me to recognize the the mirror was reflecting, or was even a mirror at all, so maybe a glossy or thin layer of white would help? I love your paintings, as they're always very well done, with amazing blending, color, and sense of light and dark values.

The messy hair and simple clothing, almost pajamas, gives the feeling of someone fixing themselves up in the morning, putting on makeup, styling their hair, and thus hiding away their imperfections. The bold words, hairstyle, and clothes almost give the sense of an 80s teen movie for me, highlighting to me the pressure of "popular girls" wanting to remain popular and hiding themselves up to do so.
