Ween is a rock group from New Hope, Pennsylvania. They were founded in 1984 by Aaron Freeman, Mickey Melchiondo and are well-known for their irreverent style of rock. They were nominated in 2006 for the Grammy award as Best New Artist. Glenn McClelland is a member of Ween and has been with them since April 1997. McClelland is not the only member of Ween. Chris "Mean Ween", Williams, and Claude Coleman Jr. are also members. Ween also participated in the festival circuit during the summer. Their most notable achievement is their performance at MTV's Spring Break in Daytona Beach (FL).
Ween is also known for releasing the album "Pure Guava" in November 1992. Boredoms, a Japanese noise rock band, collaborated on the album. One of the band members was a huge rock fan.
