■before we start do you have xfinity app
■open xfinity app then select get started to begin you can navigate to the activation entry point by selecting the account icon from the top left corner of the overview tab..
■now as you can see under the devices section then please select activate xFI gateway or modem...
■identify your account you can use your camera to scan the QR code of the gateway by the way QR code is located at the bottom of the gate way or you can just type it manually your cmac code..
■and please check if the coaxial cable and the power cable is plug in do you see a light in your gateway>> what"s the color of it?? solid or blinking color white great then next step select ready to go then click the check connection by the way it will take 2 to 3 minutes...
■after the pitch when the gateway is ready ENTER WIFI name and password that is easy to remember and secure if you need to make changes simply select the back arrow in the top-left hand corner of the screen... then connect..■
