as soon as you sign in to the app, can you navigate to the activation entry point by selecting the Account icon from the top-left corner of the Overview tab on the Xfinity app and then select Activate xFi Gateway or Modem under the Devices section. all good _______? thats good to know!

AWESOME! we did a great job because that a good sign that we already activated your gateway, now could you please Select Ready to Go! to continue.

Now that your Gateway is powered up, select Check Connection to check if your cable outlet is active.
you can now proceed with personalizing your home WiFi network name and password. This is what you'll use to connect your personal devices to your network but before that well wait for about 2-3 mins to see if your network is accessable or ready to use.

PHISHING SCAM
usually involves a fraudulent email and website that attempts to steal your information or identify for financial gain.
SPHERE PHISHING
is an email spoofing attack that targets a specific organization or individual, seeking unauthorized access to sensitive information for financial gain and trade secrets.
MALICIOUS ATTACHMENT

CORRUPTION - is a dishonest, unethical or fraudulent conduct to obtain a benefit or for other improper purposes.

ACTIVE CORRUPTION- offering someone a benefit in order to influence a decision-making mechanism, or in exchange for a benefit ( authorization, right, supply, business, contract, financial gain, etc.)

PASSIVE CORRUPTION - is accepting or receiving a benefit ( usually money or a service) in return for using one's influence to affect a decision.

EXTORTION - means demanding undue recompense in return for the grant of business, a contract or authorization, by exerting pressure that may range from occasional or more frequent demands for money to physical threats against individual and their family.

DISGUISED PAYMENTS - are a form of corruption in which payments re made based on an invoice or contract for services such as consulting fees or commission, but the services were not actually performed.

PRIVACY - is the right you have to control how your personal information is collected and used. some rights continue even after you have shared your information.

PERSONAL DATA - information relating to an identifiable person.

* DIRECT INFORMATION
names / customer's id / bank account numbers / passport numbers / address (physical/email)

*SESITIVE PERSONAL DATA - special categories of data which due to the potential impact if they were inappropriately disclosed require a higher level of protection.

EXAMPLE:
health data / biometric data (face or voice recognition) / trade union membership / ethnic background / sexual orientation.

LAWFULNESS - gathering and handling information in accordance with the law.
ex: sometimes you need consent to collect a customers personal data.

FAIRNESS - handling information in a fair manner that our customer expect.
ex: making sure that when collecting personal data from customers, you use it only for the specific purposes it was collected for, such as marketing.

TRANSPARENCY - providing customers with an opportunity to view/review their information.
ex: if a customer call and request a record of all the information you have about them, you must report this to your manager.

CONFIDENTIALITY - handling data so unauthorized people don't see the data.
