Daniel Boone - was the first pioneer of pioneers.
Peter Cartwright- was the first circuit preacher.
Richard Allen - accepted Jesus at the age of 17 by a circuit preacher, and he even became a circuit preacher and started doing bible studies, with whoever would listen.
Noah Webster - A scholar from Connecticut made the first American Dictionary, and the Blue-Black Speller.
William H. McGuffey- A presbyterian minister from Pennsylvania and Ohio, also wrote a series of textbooks.
Second Great Awakening- Brought spiritual fervor and interest in sharing the bible.
John Wesley- The great English founder of the Methodist Church, which was John Wesley.
Francis Asbury- Was a young Methodist that John Wesley sent to America to establish churches and even bible studies on the frontier, Francis later ordained himself as the first "Black" deacon of the Methodist church in 1799; Bethel Church became the core of the first 'BLACK" denomination in the U.S.
Isaac Watts & Charles Wesley- The music of great English writers Isaac Watts and Charles Wesley.
George Lielle- America's first missionary to a foreign- land was George Lielle,
Andrew Bryan - Andrew Bryan founded America's first "Black Baptist" Church.
Samuel J. Mills - accepted Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savior, and he felt the need to be in Missionary.
Adoniram Judson - The father of American missions, was a friend of Samuel Mills when both were students at Andover Theological Seminary in Massachusetts, soon after Judson went to Asia, he and another missionary on another ship, Luther Rice (1783-1836) became Baptists on their voyages after studying the Greek New Testament.
