Minecraft's annual event started out as an event, but it changed to a streaming-only format in 2017 in an effort to maintain the close-knit environment for an increasingly large audience. The event is now returning to an in-person experience and offers more details. The new name for the event is Minecraft Festival will take place in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center from September 25th until September 27th. Irc101 Tickets are on sale starting March 6th at 12 PM Eastern. Mojang and Microsoft have promised plenty of activities, in addition to hearing the most recent Minecraft news. Tickets are available beginning March 6th at 12PM Eastern.
Tickets start at $65 per day and $165 per day for three days. All attendees will receive an in-game Minecraft Festival cap, which works with Java and Bedrock. Like most conventions, however there are incentives to pay extra. A $225 Gold package gives you early access to exhibits, panels and the store and those who go all-out with the $300 Diamond package also have access to a special lounge, a private bag and coat check as along with a special pin and lanyard.
This is a good thing for those who have missed the times of meeting creators and other fans. With that said, Microsoft is taking a risk with the coronavirus epidemic that is currently in progress. Although September is seven months away, it's unlikely that the outbreak will be under control by the end of September. The Minecraft Festival will likely go ahead, but you might be prudent about planning your life around it.
