Minecraft and magic have come together a few times recently. One of the most well-known of these magical combination is Spellcraft, a free DLC that includes more than 20,000 spells as well as new ways to use the spells. However the fan-created EpicSpellsPlugin is definitely worth paying attention to too.
We wrote about this plugin in May, which was impressive enough when it was first released, but the development seems to be moving at a rapid speed since then. As Morica_ on Reddit describes in a blog post, they've added the ability to cast spells without commands. You now just have to change the name of a stick to "Magic Wand", then sneak and draw symbols in the air.

The video demonstrates a few spells and how to bind them to different actions. It's a very mystical experience which is the kind of vibe that anything magical should be going for. Morica_ talks about a few other possibilities for the plugin in different comments throughout the post however, there's one that really stands out.
When asked about the possibility to create custom spells, Morica_ replied with "Yes! Although this is unlikely to happen within the next few months, I want something like this. I also code spells so that they work with premade items." This basically means that spells can be modified by using things already in the game. This could be the perfect way to live out Hogwarts Legacy without buying the game.
