Hello im Leah bil and im from troqueer primary school and i am sending you this letter to ask you some questions about your career in writing books and questions about the book you wrote the war horse.
i have a couple questions to start off with then i will tell you my favourite part in war horse and my least favourite part. Question one, How did you come up with the idea of joey going to war and fighting for a long time and meeting alot of people and then losing them? And how long did the war horse take to write? When did you realise you wanted to start writing book and when did you start writing books? My favourite part in the war horse was when joey did not get sold to a butcher and he got sold to Emilies grandfather then Emilies grandfather sold joey back to Albert. My least favourite part in the war horse is when i found out the Emilies died at the very end of the story
