However, that doesn't mean it's necessarily the full experience, as will be explained in the next paragraph however it's certainly more than nothing and could suffice to satisfy the desire of some to throw blocks around for a while.

The free browser version Minecraft is in essence an older version of Minecraft. It allows you to play in the creative mode. This severely limits your options and makes it less fun than the actual game. But again - it's definitely better than nothing and can be a decent substitute for those looking for a fix. Read on to find out how to play Minecraft legally at home, for free.

If you've got the full version of the game, try some of the top Minecraft mods listed here!

Players can play Minecraft for free at this link right here, an in-browser form of the game that's far more limited than any paid version. Particularly, this version of Minecraft includes "Minecraft Classic" which is an older version of the game and only the creative mode of that. Minecraft servers list There aren't any modern updates or additions and no survival elements or mobs - you're in a time-traveller back into the 2000s. There are 32 kinds of blocks, with most of them being dyed wool. The original bugs remain. However you're able to only build as much as you want because Classic Minecraft only has the creative mode.

It's still an excellent demo that can be used to showcase the game to people who are contemplating purchasing it, or who wish to give their kids something to do during rainy weather or aren't able to afford it to purchase it right now.

There's another disadvantage to think about - you cannot save the game! Any progress, creations , or explorations you do in Browser Minecraft game are lost when you close the game, and there's no way to retrieve them. Don't get too involved with the things you create.
