Trying to tame an eagle in Minecraft? If you're struggling to control these unassuming mobs, then we've put together a tutorial on how to master the Minecraft Fox and everything else you should be aware of these adorable fluffy tailed Minecraft mobs.
The spawning areas for Minecraft foxes are giant taiga, taiga, and snowy biomes. They are nocturnal creatures and are more likely to appear at night in forests and taiga. Minecraft foxes found in snowy biomes have white fur, but have the same behaviour as foxes in other biomes. They typically spawn in groups of 2 to 4 with a chance of 5% that they'll be born as foxes who are still babies.
There's a 20% chance that Minecraft foxes will appear holding items. These items include an egg, emeralds rabbit feet eggs, rabbit hide, leather, and a feather. This is presumably because they are hunting their prey. If you spot an eagle sleeping with one of these in its mouth, it might be tempting to try to sneak up on it however, a fox will awake if you step onto an adjacent block. If a fox is killed by a wolf or a player will lose one to two points of experience. Here's everything you need be aware of about Minecraft foxes and how to control the fox in Minecraft and where Minecraft the foxes will spawn.
Minecraft fox behaviour
You'd think that foxes in Minecraft are used to players approaching them by now However they'll flee at you when you approach, unless you the opportunity to sneak up on them. Minecraft foxes will not be able to approach wolves when they see them. If you want your fox to be a loyal friend once they are able to trust you they will attack any mob who attacks you.
Untamed Minecraft Foxes can be a threat to chickens, fish and rabbits. They are not afraid of any kind of mob. They can jump over walls and fences to cause havoc in the Minecraft village that they frequent at night.
How do you control a Fox in Minecraft
The foxes who are born naturally are not likely to trust you. However, if you give a sweet berry to two adult foxes (which foxes love) and the child they give birth to will trust you. Baby foxes will follow adult foxes. You can use an unidirectional lead to ensure that your fox will not wander off.
