Broken Sky texture. I have 1.12.2 optifine installed and I played around with the detail settings as well as the Sun, sky and star options. After I was done, the sky has broken textures and reverting back to the previous settings didnt help. What should I do?

Honestly, it's kinda been on my mind for the last week or so and I thought I'd post it here.



The fact that the unique number of items in each storage cell remains at 63, regardless of the level is quite disappointing. Each level could hold twice as many unique items than the previous storage space beginning at 32. This would mean that it could be 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512 unique items per cell. This is because, as many mods use this mod, it is used for huge storage when I have many mods that include new content. The presence of a large number of disk drives takes up resources. This issue also leads into the next issue.





How items are counted. Instead of serial number, maybe the system should go by ID tag, so that things like books with enchanted covers don't clutter the system(s)





I'm not sure of the intricacies of the system, and this could have been the only method to do these and I'd love to hear your thoughts!





















What are the "best coding practices" to make a mod pack or run a server? Great suggestions for increasing QOL and Speed.

i've been coding for about 2 months, running a server for my own pack for about a month, And want to learn some more about how to improve my coding/organization/shortcuts/ formatting/etc.some notes are that i'm using Kube.js, Javascript (obviously), VSC, and i have a github here (https://github.com/Apoachedpenguin/Waddlecraft-home) if anyone cares to look over it and see where i can improve! (I'm embarrassed to share this, but it's a great opportunity to gain knowledge)



So if anyone has any good tips for new coders, and things you've learned greatly improved your life, let me know. Here's an overview of few things I struggle with, but essentially any advice that has improved your QOL (no matter how small) I'd love to hear about it! Even if they're not applicable to me, they may apply to others who may be in the same boat :)



A few general questions that can generate ideas I would love to hear about anything, i am making modpacks and runnins



how to efficiently read over warnings and errors in logs. I have the ability to fix my own Kubejs errors but it requires thousands of lines of code to find strange conflicts and warnings in logs.





How can I more efficiently accomplish a large number of "custom" events in a row? My friend has set up an event, but it's something I'm not yet able to master. (First one worked, but it was FUGLY).





How can I reduce the amount of code, streamline and arrange things in a proper How can I streamline my code, reduce clutter, and make things more efficient?





how best can i find mod conflicts, Just logs? Is there a better method to do this?





How do I stop the constant attack of chickens that are hell-born trying to eat my mortal flesh?





What are some mods that can help reduce lag? ( I have a massive list of suggestions from a friend for server-side mods but i've not had the time to look through them, select a few and make sure they do not interfere.)





How can i more efficiently eliminate old, unneeded things (old mod configs i no have any longer require, redundant and also unnecessary Github files, which I wasn't sure was necessary or not)
