The Hilarious Outtakes at the end of Warcraft 3's credits where they attempt to recreate
The Warcraft 2 cinematic in which the footman cuts a catapult rope and destroys the zeppelin
. Needless to say, it requires many takes, Archimonde is a Bad Director with a penchant for You Have Failed Me, sheep, dragons...- The Frozen Throne's credits sequence gives us the first appearance of the Elite Tauren Chieftain, a high-fantasy metal band of which Arthas is a member, complete with an electric guitar made of ice (That was later remade into a Frostmourne themed one in Reforged). There's even lore about how he split off from the band due to creative differences.




















- While we are on the subject of Easter egg bosses: The use of force of nature to eliminate mushrooms in the underground can result in a scene of Malfurion entering the lairs of a huge panda. Clicking on it will reveal the name of the panda: BIGGEST PANDA EVER.


The Penguin King can be found in the undead frozen crown campaign. He gives you an exclusive item to help you locate him, unlike the other examples. Genius Bonus for those who manage to identify the King penguin.
is an actual species of penguin in real life.


A penguin toy that makes a sound when it is utilized can be seen on the first map of the Founding of Durotar. TSACLUB Evidently the centaurs were fascinated by penguins for the first time.


































































































The encounter between Arthas and Sapphiron:








- The pre-level cutscene has Arthas and Anub'arak, trying to cut through the ruin of Azjol-Nerub to reach the Frozen Throne more quickly but they are stopped by dwarves from Muradin's expedition (you know, the same ones Arthas abandoned back in Reign of Chaos). Arthas's response?


- Even more Hilarious in Hindsight when World of Warcraft revealed that Muradin himself didn't actually die, either.


- The dwarves then attempt to pull a You Shall Not Pass! Arthas responds by smacking Sapphiron. The dwarves later hide in the ruins behind them, and one poor schmuck is trapped outside by the massive Frost Wyrm.


The level is a place for dwarves that are accustomed to a position next to stacks of explosive barrels. These barrels can be detonated with predictable results. One has to be wondering how they managed to even get this far...


- Prior to the final confrontation with the leader of the dwarves, Baelgun, this exchange takes place:






The second chapter shows Arthas and Anub'Arak being attacked by nerubians who want to kill the king who is a traitor. Arthas thinks they are talking about him but Anub'arak corrects him in such a deadpan tone it feels like he was exasperated at Arthas's interpretation.


It doesn't matter that Arthas is trying to stop Illidan destroying the Lich Kings in the final mission. He will still take time to mock Kael'thas when they cross paths.






- Kael'thas's response also works as a call-back to the fourth mission, in which he contemplates the Lich King's death as a form of payment for Arthas destroying Quel'thalas... "and other insults". He also mentioned "other insults" like Jaina choosing Arthas instead of him.
