Lego Minecraft combines two things that go together so very well. You do not have to believe us; we can demonstrate. Someone already put an ungodly amount of time and bricks into creating this Minecraft piston out of Lego. Plus, you can have all of your digital Lego dreams come true by using this Minecraft mod that turns mobs into Lego figures. Both work, I assure you.
Today we're bringing to you another real-life piece of art with a bit of animation. Reddit user GoodSirCompany uploaded a sweet clip showing their first Lego Minecraft stop-motion animation. The clip shows a player character in black armour running through the air and battling an uninformed skeleton. It's a nice little work and, while it does have some rough edges, it's got a nice smoothness to the battle.

It's also packed with amazing small details. One of the most striking is the flame, which continually flickers to really help cement the feeling of movement throughout the mini diorama. For those who are observant you'll also spot a cameo from something suspicious in the background. Who doesn't love a good cameo?
The very first attempt by GoodSirCompany to do this, there are some useful feedback as well. It's obvious that the shadows in background are shifting. However, a reliable lighting source can help. Camera shake can also occur when GoodSirCompany presses the shutter button. As suggested by Slasken06, the shake could be taken care of by using a pair wireless headphones to capture the pictures instead. You could also use the remote. If you didn't think you'd get some stop motion tricks, consider this all a bonus.
If you're on the hunt for more Minecraft news, then did you know that frogs were known to devour goats? We didn't either and it's horrifying. According to reports, Minecraft Live could have some in-game functions this year.
