Minggu, 20 September 2015 - SMK NEGERI 1 Banda Aceh yang mewakili Kota Banda Aceh meraih kemenangan dalam Lomba Debat Bahasa untuk Siswa/i SMK se Provinsi Aceh.
Lomba yang diadakan antara lain ialah; Debat Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Bahasa Jepang, dan Bahasa Jerman.
Acara yang diselenggarakan di Hotel Grand Aceh pada tanggal 19 s/d 20 September 2015 ini diikuti oleh beberapa kabupaten dari seluruh Aceh antara lain Aceh Besar, Aceh Utara, Lhokseumawe, Pidie, Sabang, dan Banda Aceh.
Dalam perlombaan ini Kota Banda Aceh meraih beberapa kemenangan antara lain:
Tim Debat Bahasa Indonesia yang diwakili oleh Siswi SMKN 1 dan SMKN 3 berhasil meraih juara 2.
Tim Debat Bahasa Inggris yang diwakili oleh Siswi SMKN 1 dan Siswa SMKN 2 berhasil meraih juara 1.
Tim Debat Bahasa Jepang yang diwakili oleh Siswi SMKN 1 berhasil meraih juara 1.
Tim Debat yang sukses meraih juara 1 di tingkat Provinsi ini, nantinya akan mewakili Aceh ke tingkat Nasional. Semoga kedepannya Siswa/i SMK Negeri 1 Banda Aceh terus meraih prestasi yang cemerlang dan dapat mengharumkan nama SMK Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. SMK BISA!
