What is a Minecraft Nether portal? This portal is a gateway between two worlds. It separates the overworld (Minecraft) from the Nether realms that are a hostile and dark hellscape. It is impossible to access the Nether without going through the purple door. So, how can you make use of the Nether portal to the Nether?



Once you've created your Nether portal, you can use it to teleport to the Nether. To do this, enter the portal and within four seconds , you'll be transported to a hellish landscape filled with creatures and lava.
