Nine Inch Nails is More Than Just Rock Music
Nine Inch Nails were founded in Cleveland by Trent Reznor, Ohio in 1988. They are known for their unique songwriting and dark rock tracks. They have received numerous nominations, including a Grammy. Their albums have been sold over 20,000,000 worldwide. The band's name may be most familiar to fans who love alternative rock and metal, but the band is also involved in television, film and fashion.

Their massive output is only one of many high-profile battles they have had with the corporate industry. Trent Reznor decided to create his own label called Nothing Records because of this unique opportunity. Marilyn Manson was his debut major release. He also hired other musicians for live performances. He was eventually able to return to the big leagues for the 2013 release of Hesitation Marks.
