一般傳統的矯正大概是4-6週回診一次，而數位矯正也是差不多。 但不同的是數位矯正可以因為病人的需求，而量身訂作一系列的矯正隱形牙托，方便病人不能回診時先自行配戴，方便度大為提高，只要好好的配戴，幾乎不會出錯，也減少回診的頻率。
因此植牙完成只是一個階段，完成後也一定不要忽略定期檢查和口腔清潔的重要性。 牙醫的目標早期在治療疾病和恢復咀嚼功能，但隨著民眾對『美』的需求與要求變高，牙科治療的領域提升到除了健康以外還要顧慮到美觀。

目前已經過三天(今2/24) 每天都要吃止痛藥 因為真的很痛沒辦法不吃，晚上睡覺還痛醒，上網查詢過一般約2天之後都不痛.. 但目前第三天還是會痛..已經好一點變成痠痛感..至少沒有脹痛.. 目前已經清通兩根..有照X光確認，但是弄完之後牙齒有腫脹痛感..幾乎每天都要吃三顆止痛藥.. 因為牙醫真的很難預約預計還要一周之後才能看.. 請問小孩7歲，因牙齒照X光有照到陰影，懷疑是腫瘤.....門診說無法處理，一定要去大醫院，但目前掛號都額滿，還在找尋醫院和醫生，很頭痛....
長期配戴活動假牙的人，可能因為牙齒越來越少，假牙容易鬆脫、不舒服，如果可以配合植體的support，也是會有效改善這些問題。 每年台灣的植牙人數，大約與買新車的人數相等，足以見得如今植牙的需求之大，但在植牙之前，醫師都會建議患者要先了解植牙失敗的可能症狀與原因。
