If you learn one brilliant architect’s journey, you will get amazed. I understand that my dad and granddad, they are a builder. It makes a massive leap as my understanding that architecture can use what available material around us.

She was active not only in Interior Design and Jewelry Design but also in Product Design, Exhibition Design, Visual Merchandising, Web Design and Textile Design. She loves teaching and developing people to discover their passion, purpose and calling. It would be nicer if we have the regulation that is similar to the one in Japan, so that it is not the material that spreads across the country, but the craftsmen instead. At that time, we are the same age who are in our 30’s. Some people said, Life is just begun at 30, that’s like what I thought. Probably it’s just a coincidence, miracle, or incredible gift that Laurensia and I could be together.

A comfortable, well designed office office is very beneficial in increasing your team productivity and improving your team culture. Admittedly, you will have less flexibility to “coffee shop hop” once you have committed to a coworking space membership. Neither will it be as convenient to order food or snacks whenever the hunger pangs strike. Here at Avenue8, we try to make this up by introducing some of the convenience of coffee shops to our coworking space.

I think this kind of design approach is somewhat too instant. We prefer that the realised design is unpredictable and every material selected has its proper reason to be used in that project. More than that, materials could help to represent a certain design styles and define contexts. Great projects have their specific reasons of why certain materials are used.
The second book is Architecture Philosophy for students . The ninth book is Fee, creating a healthy ecosystem . Here at Avenue8, we try to make this up by introducing some of the convenience of coffee shops to our coworking space. We set the picnic at the treetop in front of the studio; it was a lovely and timeless moment. We have beautiful pictures; what made it enjoyable was the moment captured in our parents, including her very close dog. We want to experience it repeatedly, and it feels like I know her from the past life.
Think about it, the use of certain material is similar to trends. When someone uses a particular material and turns out to be good, everyone else will try the same thing. What might be interesting is if the utilisation of natural materials in Indonesia could be like Japan, of which I heard through one of Kengo Kuma’s presentations in 2008. In Japan, there is a certain regulation that refrains a local material to be used outside its prefecture. Similar situation in Indonesia is when, for example, Yogyakarta’s stone is trending, the material will spread to different parts of Java, to Sumatra and other islands.

That is the beautiful side of monumental architecture, creating memories for all of the people. I am an architect, writer, and teacher who lives in Guha with my beautiful wife and kids. I am the principal of the Realrich Architecture Workshop, an ordinary long-life learner. This is the place where I put personal thoughts, and writings about my journey on designing and understanding things. I believe that architecture is quite personal and so damn powerful.

These two poles become the poles of the brain balancing right and left brain. We are all still in the process of transforming and interpreting life as a temporary thing. Every point and second of meeting ignites the embers for process and progress. This is the process where we have dialogue with craftsmen before deciding.
