DOES SWEATING MAKE YOU WEIGHT?
Sweating is essential for managing body temperature during exercise and at rest.

When the body temperature rises (in high temperature conditions or during intense training), the body's sweat glands kick in to keep the body temperature at 37°. The body has a built-in thermostat in the brain, called the hypothalamus. When our core temperature rises, the hypothalamus triggers sweat gland activity to release sweat: a mixture of water, sodium chloride and other electrolytes.

Water is essential for maintaining blood volume, regulating body temperature and enabling muscle contractions.

During exercise, the most effective way for the body to maintain an optimal temperature is to sweat. When sweat leaves the pores of the skin, it evaporates into the air, taking some heat with it. It is this evaporation that actually "cools" the body. Sweat production, and therefore fluid loss, increases proportionally with rising ambient temperature and humidity, as well as exercise intensity.

It is not just body temperature that regulates perspiration. During exercise, the heart rate and blood pressure increase, which encourages the body to produce more sweat.

Some people think they sweat a lot because they're out of shape, but that's irrelevant. Everyone regulates their body temperature differently, and some people may actually be more effective at getting rid of heat by sweating more!

IS IT GOOD TO SWEAT WHEN DOING SPORTS?
The main benefit of sweating during physical activity is that it helps cool your body, which prevents overheating.

Exercise and high temperatures heat up your body, which then reacts by producing sweat. Being able to regulate your temperature during exercise is essential, especially if you participate in activities in heated rooms or outdoors in hot weather.

IS IT GOOD TO SWEAT?
Sweat is your body's natural coolant. A drop of sweat contains about 99% water, but also traces of urea, uric acid, ammonia, lactic acid, vitamin C and other substances.

From a physiological point of view, perspiration is not only beneficial, but above all absolutely essential. We couldn't maintain our temperature at 37° if we didn't sweat.

Why it is good to sweat during sport
Some causes of sweating are associated with other issues such as heat exhaustion, anxiety, or illness. In sweating make you lose weight , activities like exercise and time spent in a sauna are healthy. This suggests that it's not sweating itself, but rather the activity behind it that defines whether or not sweating is healthy.

WHY IS IT GOOD TO SWEAT?
When we sweat, like during intense exercise, our body thanks us! And here's why:

- The pores of our skin open and release toxins, reducing the concentration of bacteria in the skin.
