That's why we plan to allow you to test the new ray tracing capabilities by activating "Optional graphics with RTX" in the settings screen of Minecraft in a future beta. RENDER DRAGON
The Minecraft Bedrock platforms upgrade in the coming months as we learn the capabilities of our beautiful new game engine, Render Dragon. You may have already seen a glimpse of Render Dragon in action if you viewed Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference on-stage when we demoed Minecraft Earth.
It also featured edge highlighting and new lighting techniques. This is just the start of the visual and performance enhancements we're planning to implement using Render Dragon. Render Dragon supports a variety of graphics features based on the capabilities of your device. While some devices do not support ray-tracing, we will provide graphics enhancements to most devices. Again, it's all about taking advantage of different hardware in order to provide the most smooth Minecraft experience you can get regardless of the device you're playing on!
