Go to a Minecraft map site like Minecraftsix.com or Minecraftmaps.com on your computer.
2. T LAUNCHER To find out more about a map, click on the name.
3. When you find the map you're looking for, click the Download link.
4. Unzip the downloaded file.
5. Right-click the map folder , and select Copy. Copy multiple folders with names like "DIM1" or "DIM-1" to ensure you have enough copies.
6. In the Minecraft Launcher, click the menu and then select Launch Options.
7. Enable ""Advanced Settings"" and then click OK to confirm.
8. Click + Create New.
9. Switch on the ""Game directory"" switch to activate it.
10. To open the Minecraft game folder click the green arrow.
11. Double-click the saves folder.
12. Paste the map folder you copied earlier into the saves folder by pressing Control + V on the PC or Command + V on a Mac.
13. To play the new map, start Minecraft Launcher, tap the menu, and then select Launch Options. Select ""Advanced settings"" if you haven't already and then click + Add New to select and add the new map folder. Once it's added, the map will appear in the Singleplayer menu with the other maps you have.
