Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited today the special boarding school No12 in Khazar District, the summer camp of orphanage No1 in Shuvalan Settlement, the psycho-neurological orphanage in Narimanov District and the Downs Syndrome Association in Baku, the capital.
Arzu Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva were the first to visit a special Boarding School No12 in Khazar District.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva received information that the school has been offering education to disabled children since.
In 2010, Mehriban Aliyeva (First Lady) started the repair work on the building.
The boarding schools are able to accommodate up to 140 students aged between 6 and 14 years old.
