Are you planning to create your first Minecraft Iron Golem farm? A Minecraft Iron Golem is for life, not only for Halloween, but that's what the saying goes does it? Iron Golems are one the most fascinating aspects of Minecraft. You can make them by yourself. This is a fantastic thing. Sure, there's a lot of responsibility that comes with it, but the important aspect is that you can create life out of some metal blocks and an acorn vegetable.
This is the good news: don't let it linger on your conscience too much. The Minecraft Iron Golems are a ferocious creatures, are strong and surprisingly gentle and are also great for the environment. We know a lot about these creatures, so we decided to create a guide.
Iron Golems are a great aid in the creation of farms. It is important to understand them and learn how to start your very first Iron Golem farm.
How to locate or summon a Minecraft Iron Golem
There are many ways to get in touch with an Iron Golem. The easiest, by far is to make one. It is made by creating four Iron Blocks and putting them in a T-shape. Then you can add the Jack O'Lantern, or a carved Minecraft pumpkin, to finish it. The actual direction of the shape can be whatever you want however the layout is crucial and there must be air in the four corners of the 9x9 square space.

The second method is how they spawn in villages. When villager gossips or panic they can summon an Iron Golem. While we're not sure if gossiping can invoke the Iron Golem in real life however, it doesn't appear to work, so it may not be worth your time.
Iron Golems are also found in pillager outposts. They are trapped in cages after being taken captive by pillagers. The good news is that you can get them out of them, and they'll help you take care of the pillagers in the area, making them very powerful allies.
What is an Minecraft Iron Golem?
An Iron Golem is a neutral mob, but one that serves a good purpose. They're there to protect the village however, they also defend you in other scenarios. But that's not all although they're able to knock the life out of most things, they're also incredibly kind-hearted, and can often be spotted offering villagers poppies that they can create magically with their hands.
They spend most of their time patrolling the villages they guard, or walking around them. They are immune to fall injuries and drowning but they'll stay clear of the water if they must. They also search for the most hostile Minecraft mobs within 16 blocks of their homes. They can also turn against you for a long time when they discover that you've disrupted their community. These imposing creatures will become your enemy if you reach 15 popularity. This means there are no poppies for you.
Here's a list of Minecraft mobs that an Iron Golem can attack upon at a glance:

Iron Golem farm
Do you want to harvest iron from gentle giants? We'll never judge. There are many ways to do it however, this is the way we do it.
You need to craft a killing pit filled with lava, with water streams running towards it. You will need to build your basic Minecraft village above the killing pit. You can build your village with floating beds, a few cauldrons, and a few blocks to stop them from falling off or fleeing. A threat like a zombie nearby is also important. KD76 Put one in a composter or cauldron and place it somewhere where the villagers can see. To be able to panic, you'll require at minimum one villager. However your villagers should be in a position to sleep and perform their job. This is simpler if you play in 1.16 as your villagers don't need to be able to work.

Above your strange suspended village, you'll need an extensive roof or a cover to prevent lighting from turning your villager's into witches. Also, make sure your Iron Golem doesn't spawn in your village. Instead, it will spawn near the pit. To do this, make sure all of your surfaces don't meet specifications needed to allow the Iron Golem to spawn: buttons placed on the top, hollow blocks or blocks with nothing underneath them are the way to go.
All of this together means the Iron Golem will spawn on the ground, move towards the suspended zombie, become trapped in the lava pit and die. Simply place a hopper and some chests beneath the pit to kill it and it will drain any resources.
