Fortnite Creative has Courses For Minecraft Educators Now

Fortnite Creative can be an effective tool for learning in the same way as Minecraft can be. It might seem odd to those who aren't in the classroom anymore, but Minecraft's Education edition is very well-known, which is the reason Fortnite Creative has courses to help people use both.



The Epic blog published the course in the last few days and it is specifically designed to assist "secondary educators understand Minecraft how Fortnite Creative can be utilized in the classroom". It consists of 11 videos and demonstrates the various features and mechanics of Fortnite Creative to show users how they can be used in teaching.



The blog post also discusses the two main differences between Fortnite and Minecraft when it comes to building. As you probably know Minecraft is all about building things brick by brick. Fortnite, however, has assets that can be used immediately. Fortnite is theoretically faster to build, but it lacks some of the complexity that comes with the code elements.



Minecraft can be used to teach the fundamentals of programming because of how complicated commands and Redstone mechanisms can be. Fortnite isn't as deep. amount of depth, however it can mimic the same freedom using different devices and mechanics instead. The Item Placer device lets players see how their actions impact the world as they play. This creates a faster feedback loop that can, as any parent will tell you, can be an essential element in teaching children.
