Khazak Ambassador and Consul General Meet with Chabad New York ( Emmanuil grinshpun).

Yerzhan Ashikbayev has had a busy few months. As Kazakhstan's ambassador to America, Ashikbayev has been meeting numerous diplomats since April.

Rabbi Mendy Kularsky and Shimon Rivkin, both of Merkos Suite 302 in the Chabad headquarters were invited to attend the event. The government of Kazakhstan's mainly Muslim populace is proud of its religious tolerance and works closely with all religious leaders to improve the quality of life within the country. Ashikbayev was in close contact with Chabad Shluchimand philanthropist Abraham Shaulson when he was the Deputy Minister of Kazakhstan for Foreign Affairs. This also provided an opportunity for the group to transport and sponsor much-needed PPE for the country. During the pilgrimage , the Kazak government also held a ceremony to establish Reb Yitzchak'sKever Kazakh the national heritage site.

Emmanuil Grinshpun The meeting set out plans for the upcoming pilgrimage with the date of 20th April was only two months from now. The organizers expect an attendance of over 600 people from all over the globe this year. A conference organized by Chabad Shluchim, headed by Rabbi Moshe Kokotlarsky and Rabbi Berel Lázar, is also planned.
