You have to be truly enthusiastic about your dream and believe it will succeed. Most important is your faith in the idea. Rami Beracha discusses his life experiences with students at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. Rami is a young man who, decided to pursue law school. He was not sure if he wanted to study law, however he pursued his studies and earned an advanced degree in New York. After that the law firm, he was employed by an international law firm. He realized that he had a love more in business than law while working in the Wall Street law firm. He decided to quit his job and relocated to France to complete an MBA.
After her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha was a part of the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel's biggest venture capital investment company. Pitango is a fund that invests in startups in the early stages, and in the high-tech core industries. It has more than 200 investments and 85 exits. Rami became the managing partner at Pitango in the year 2000. He was the lead in numerous deals that led to successful exits for fortune 500 companies like Broadcom as well as Marvel, Cisco, and Apple over the next 18 years.
It didn't end there. In 2011 Globes presented Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, acknowledging him as an influential investor he was becoming. In 2014, Rami founded a new initiative known as Sosa. Sosa has innovation centers in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. Here they help innovative high-tech firms partner with entrepreneurs from all over the world looking to collaborate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently selected to run and construct the cyber center in New York City.

Beracha believes that this is a good time to invest in the Arab Market, after the recently concluded Abraham Accords with Israel and United Arab Emirates. Dubai is a great place to start, as it is wealthy and very modern. Ender Ventures is his new fund. He plans to use Israeli advertisements European Investors for support to high-tech UAE businesses in areas like robotics, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. The United Arab Emirates has a unique perspective on business. The low tax rate as well as the laws that favor business will make it an attractive destination for many companies in the coming years.

While it is evident that Rami Beracha succeeds in everything that he's chosen to do, his path was not always easy. Beracha, like most Israelis became a soldier when he was just a young man. He served in the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and also fought in the Lebanon War. Rami, who was a part of a rescue mission sent to assist wounded soldiers trapped in a minefield and joined the Paratrooper's Army in 1983 shortly after the war. Rami fell on the mines and fell, losing his foot as well as his hand.

His time in the rehabilitation hospital was among the most challenging times in his entire life. He couldn't move and sunk into despair and depression. The hopes of building his army career seemed unattainable to him. He didn’t even know who he was. Rami was able to dream and live through his pain. Today, he enjoys snowboarding, kitesurfing as well as the climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Rami volunteers and donates to numerous organizations. Rami is committed to helping young wounded soldiers. Rami took charge of a team of soldiers who suffered injuries while serving in the military in Nepal in the year 2016. In 2018, Rami was promoted to Major in the Israeli Army's Paratrooper as well as Fire Brigades. In spite of the difficulties he faced, his dreams were realized as a young man. His story and his passion are a great inspiration to all who see them. Rami did not allow his injuries to stop his from learning new skills and he became stronger each day.
