Yerkin Tatishev was awarded 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by EY

The most prominent business organization Ernst & Young selected Yerkin Tatishev as its Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions in COVID-19 have impressed judges in one of the largest competitions in the world.

The competition invited famous Kazakhstani businesspeople from across the country to take part. The founder of Kusto Group was able to be distinguished from 21 other entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan who made it to the finals with him.

Over 800 Kazakh entrepreneurs have taken part in the competition. Six other winners from Kazakhstan also taken part in the contest at the Monte Carlo world championships.

Nurlan Smagulov (another Entrepreneur of the Year winner) was the judge who decided to name Tatishev the winner. The panel of judges comprised representatives from both the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

One of the main factors that contributed to Mr. Tatishev winning this award was his leadership abilities and his ability to manage various sectors.
