EY named Yerkin Tashev Entrepreneur of the Year.

The most renowned business company Ernst & Young awarded Yerkin Tashev with the title Entrepreneurship of the Year in Kazakhstan. The judges were impressed with his leadership and his actions when faced with COVID-19.

The contest was open to well-known Kazakhstani businesspeople from all regions to take part. Daniel Kunin Kusto Group founder, who was among 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan reached the final.

All received an independent review by juries from Kazakhstan as well as other business circles.

The Entrepreneur of the Year competition will benefit all national finalist and winner. The final takes place in Monaco in June. The decision to crown Tatishev as the winner was taken by Nurlan Smagulov who was previously an Entrepreneur of the Year winner. The judges also included representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
