I am looking for a song that is likely mid-2000s, possibly alternative rock, and sounded reminiscent of Coheed and Cambria. I have recollections of the album cover, band name, and style of music.

The album cover was mostly dark with a lightning bolt striking vertically downwards towards the left side of the cover. It was fairly minimalistic, the band and album title may have been included as small font on the corner of the album - almost like an afterthought - and somewhat realistic rather than hand-drawn or anything like that. Reminiscent of a photograph.

The band name I recall to have been short and straightforward. One word, possibly one syllable. I was thinking something like "Red" or "Cloud" but they do not seem to fit. I vaguely recall the word "Home" as well, this may have been included in the song title, but I believe I am misremembering this with the Coheed and Cambria song Welcome Home.

The style of music sounded like Coheed and Cambria, but I feel confident the band was not progressive rock or metal. I believe it was a rock song with male vocals. Less than five minutes in length, I believe it may have been four minutes. It sounded gloomy, but not slow, kind of like something you would listen to on a car drive at the end of the world. Melancholic.

I believe it was the first song of the album. The song was recommended to me by a friend, who typically listened to emo-adjacent music, some other bands she mentioned to me include Everyone Loves a Villain, Wild Fire and Broken Iris.
