Minecraft Dungeons Launching May 26

If you're like me and would like to secure at minimum ten copies without having to beg Executive Producer David Nisshagen or Game Director Mans Olson for them, Minecraft Dungeons will be available for pre-order on a few platforms. If you're already on Xbox Game Pass you can also play on the first day by installing the game prior to its launch on console or PC - starting today.

You may be asking "What is Minecraft Dungeons?". I could ask you if you've lived under a brick, but I'd like to explain: Minecraft Dungeons, our new action-adventure, and dungeon-crawler-style video game that lets up to four players fight together to take on Arch-Illager and his constant swarms of mobsters who are new and dangerous each level a thrilling time. You can play with your pals and have access to all kinds of weapons, artifacts and enchantments. If you're still having questions, then ask our FAQ to answer all the whens, hows, and the whys!



Is Minecraft Dungeons a Minecraft game? Minecraft Dungeons, a standalone, brand-new game, is set in the Minecraft universe. It is full of the charm of blocks and challenges that Minecraft is known for. It's possible that you won't be able to place blocks or construct a home made of cobblestone, but it's still very much an adventurer navigating the Overworld.



Are there character classes in Minecraft Dungeons? Minecraft Dungeons does not have classes. Minecraft is about the player creating their own style and identity using the items they have. You are what you wear!



Xbox Game Pass will include Minecraft Dungeons. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will have access to both the console as well as Windows PC. The Standard Edition Minecraft Dungeons membership will include the Standard Edition. Xbox Game Pass members have access to up to 10 percent off the price of related Minecraft Dungeons DLC, add-ons, and games!



Does Minecraft Dungeons include multiplayer? If yes, how does it work? Grab your controller and get ready to play! Minecraft Dungeons can support up to four players both in local and online couch modes. We do not offer a couch.



Will Minecraft Dungeons support cross-platform multiplayer? In the beginning, you'll be able to play online multiplayer with your friends on the same platform. We are working to bring cross-platform multiplayer to Xbox One, Windows 10 and Nintendo Switch in the near future through a free update.



Are there matchmaking options for online multiplayer? No. No.



Are the missions different from one game to the other? Yes! serverlist101.com Every mission in Minecraft Dungeons is a blend of procedural content and carefully designed elements that are tied to the mission's objectives and narrative. This means that even though certain missions will remain the same, the paths that you take, the mobs and treasure you find will change every time you play them.



Is there DLC? Yes! With Minecraft Dungeons - Hero Edition you'll have access to two new DLC packs for no cost. We'll provide more details about these packs in the near future.



Why can't I pre-order Minecraft Dungeons for all platforms? Minecraft Dungeons will be available on all platforms, but it is impossible to pre-order on every platform. Keep an eye on the official Minecraft Channels for the latest updates.
