The entire country has been recreated by the Danish government in the well-known computer game Minecraft.

The government hopes that it will make learning more enjoyable for students by becoming the first country to be fully integrated into the blocky Minecraft games.

It even created plans for teachers' classes to help them navigate this virtual version of their nation.

The Ministry of the Environment in Denmark has created an Minecraft model of the country for players to explore.

The downloadable model is comprised of four billion blocks. It requires 1 terabyte of storage space.

What is Minecraft?

Minecraft was launched in 2009. When you start the game, players are placed in a virtual game world.'

They can then explore a variety of terrains, including forests as well as caves.

For a bird's-eye view of the landscape, players can fly high in the air.

To construct towns and cities players are given blocks and tools.

As a player progresses they will earn advanced tools and building blocks from various materials.

The game was originally developed for the PC but now there are Xbox 360 and mobile versions available.

The model is made up of around 4000 billion bricks and takes approximately 1TB (1000 gigabytes) to download the entire country.

'We have constructed Denmark online in Minecraft to allow young people can plant their own forests, establish a lake, riding school biogas plant, wind turbine and many more,' said , said Kirsten Brosbol, Danish Minister for the Environment.

Because of their good lives Girls are able to thrive in street gangs. The truth is that your dog loves you. Researchers have discovered that 'love' can be an intense emotion in dogs.

"Imagination is the only limit."

"This is our way to make a connection between the digital and natural world."

It was founded by Simon Kokkendorf and Thor Bjorn Nielsen from Geodatastyrelsen the Danish mapping arm of the government.

They used publicly available information on the country, from elevation models to information about buildings and roads, and translated it into Minecraft's signature bricks.

The couple also designed an electronic map system so that visitors can easily locate their own neighbourhood in the model.

They will also have the opportunity to see nature and landscapes in their natural surroundings.

The Agency stated that you can "go for a walk" in the countryside of Denmark. You can also view any area in Denmark in the same way as Google Street View.

Orestad school in Copenhagen has been testing the system to teach students maths and geography.

'In the old days, the teacher would play the old map of Denmark in the classroom and let the students squabble over the names of the different regions of Denmark", said Katrin Kristensen, a teacher at Orestad school.

Future Danish schoolchildren and others will be able keep track of the game the animals and plants they've seen in nature.

"Now Denmark is available on children's computers or tablets, advancing the concept of using digital technology in the classroom.

"We have lots of experience using Minecraft in teaching maths.

We can enhance learning with the "real Denmark" now available as a Minecraft World.

"Pupils have more fun to work with their own house, street and so forth."

The developers made one change to the game: they removed the ability to use Dynamite to blow up certain areas.
