Are you wondering where to find The End Portal in Minecraft? If you want to travel to The End, then there's only one means of transport - an End Portal. The leap into a different dimension requires commitment, because when you step foot in the End Portal, there's no stopping.

How do I find the End Portal within Minecraft


The End Portal is only accessible from the End Portal in the portal room of an eminent stronghold

. Eye of Enders can be used to guide you to an area of strength. You will need to dig a very deep into the ground to locate it. After you've done that, it will be hanging above a pool of lava. The majority of End Portals have some Eyes of Ender in place, with the chance of generating with an existing eye.



Stepping into the activated End Portal will immediately transport you to the End, without any way of stopping it. How to create an End portal in Minecraft

In survival mode, you'll need to find a stronghold to activate the End Portal - in creative you can make your own.




Here's the End Portal Recipe:




12x Eyes of Ender 12x Portal Frame Blocks



Draw a 3x3 area on the ground, then when you are standing within that zone, you will need to place your Portal Frame Blocks across the perimeter of that 3x3 square.



You can open the End Portal by placing all 12 Eyes of Ender in the appropriate blocks regardless of whether or not you built it yourself or found one in a Stronghold.
