The Robotic Potato was developed by Soft Robotics, a company that develops advanced technologies for handling products. The PotatoEurope 2021 organisers were hard at work in the lead-up to the show by preparing demonstration plots. One such demonstration was a Miedema CP 42 four-row cup planter being pulled by a robot from Agrointelli Robotti. This demonstration was part of the Robotisation project, which is a cooperative initiative between WUR, Agrointelli and Dewulf.
