To build a mob spawner in Minecraft first, locate a flat surface to construct it on. You will need 12 stacks copperstone, 8 buckets water, 4 hoppers and 4 small chests. Then, construct the mob tower 2 blocks high by 28 inches wide on each side. Then, you can create one branch for each side of your tower. Then cover your branches with walls. To make the area more suitable for mobs to spawn, connect the branches with copper stones to create an area that is rectangular. Add water to the end of each branch, and then dig an opening at the bottom of the tower, to create the basement. Place the hoppers at the bottom of the hole prior to placing chests below the hoppers.
