The material waterproof is to set aside the position for sealing the electrical components with sealing glue during product design, and use the glue material to realize waterproof during assembly. The two waterproof designs are applicable to different product routes, and each has its advantages.

Material waterproof
Material waterproof is also called glue waterproof. Insulate and waterproof by filling the potting glue. After the glue is solidified, the strong adsorption force is used to seal and connect with other structures of the lamp, so as to achieve the waterproof effect.

difficulty
1. During the packaging process, there will be glue leakage, which will seep into the chip. If the glue is improperly used, there will be sulfide residues inside the lamp, which will pollute the chip.
2. The glue is easy to damage the environment of the production workshop, and the smell pollution is large.
3. The principle of heat expansion and cold contraction of lamps makes the solid sealing glue continuously pulled, which will lead to final cracking and loss of effect, and also affect the light distribution.
4. The glue filling period is long. Generally, the next installation can be carried out after 24 hours, and even 1-3 days are required for special situations.
