Minecraft Console Commands And Cheats

A console command is more than an individual string. They can change the world in an instant, from killing every enemy within your reach to instantly melting all the metals in your inventory. Some people may call this cheating, but we think of it as simply a way to save time and allowing you to concentrate on your awesome Minecraft project.



How do you enter Minecraft commands? Fortunately, Minecraft console commands are extremely simple to use. They're as easy as entering Minecraft seeds. When creating a new Minecraft world, you'll be asked to choose whether or not to allow cheats. After choosing yes and loading up the world, you'll have to press the "C" key to pull up the command bar, where you'll enter all of your cheats and commands.



Forward slash (/); multiplayer commands are required to be prefixed to any command.



It's as easy as entering the desired command into the text box and then hitting the "Enter” key.



Minecraft cheats and console commands



Target selector shortcuts @p - closest player @r - random player All players @e - all entities @s - the person who executes the command Target selector variables are used to set a specific target without having to type out their full name. Below are five shorthand commands. You'll be accustomed to seeing these when playing on the most reliable Minecraft servers.



Help/help [CommandName] Gives you more information about the given command.



Give /give [Amount] To give an item from your inventory to a different player. Example is: Give PCGamesN minecraft:planks 13. This will give PCGamesN 13 Spruce Wood Planks. This command is much simpler to give single objects, however, it is useful for stackable objects.



Teleport /tp [TargetPlayer] Z Used to instantly transport yourself or another player to a specific location within the world. By using the name of another player instead of coordinates will transport the target directly to the player's position. You can also teleport to a different world using these Minecraft maps.



Kill/kill kills your characters, and also adds the name of another player to apply the command.



Weather /weather WeatherType Allows you to select the weather or the world. You can choose from rain, thunder or snow.



Creative mode/gamemode creative Changes the gamemode to Creative mode, which allows player flight with unlimited resources, and also stop mobs from attacking you.



Survival mode/gamemode survival Changes gamemode to Survival mode. https://prioritygame.com/ This means that mobs will attack you, and you'll need to gather all resources the traditional method.



Time/time set 1000 Sets the day's date and time. Replace "1000" with "0" for dawn, "6000" for midday, "12000" for dusk and "18000" for night.



Change difficulty to Peaceful/difficulty peaceful Changes difficulty to Peaceful mode. Replace "peaceful" with "easy", " normal", or "hard" to make it more of an obstacle.



How do you locate the Seed Code of your world's Seed. This will generate a code for the world. Keep it in your wallet so that you can load another one in the near future.



Keep inventory when you die /gamerule keepInventory true Make sure you don't lose your items after dying. To revert this you must type "false" in place of "true"



Stop time / gamerule doDaylightCycle false This will stop the game's day/light cycle from taking its place, allowing you to live in perpetual sunshine or moonlight. To restart the day/light cycle, enter "/gamerule doDaylightCycle true".



Summon /summon Instantly releases the desired creature or object to your world. This is particularly helpful for those who aren't big on tame Ocelots.



Atlantis mode/atlantis dramatically increases the world's water levels, submerging all except the highest mountains.



Ride/ride Transforms the animal you are facing into an animal.



Instant mining / instantmine One-click mining using any tool.



Freeze/freeze Blocks mobs from getting away.



Fall damage/falldamage Turns the fall damage off and on.



Fire damage/firedamage Turns the fire damage on and off.



Water damage /waterdamage Turns water damage on and off.



Superheat / Smelt item Turns all items into smelted form.



Instant plant/instantplant There is no need to wait for a planted seed to develop.



Dropstore/Store Items All inventory items are stored in a chest which spawns close to.



Damage to items or items is no longer subject to degrading or being damaged.



Duplicate/duplicate Copies and drop the stack of items you have set up.
