This Zelda: Breath of the Wild Mod For Minecraft Completely Hyrules

The beautiful and vast landscapes of Breath of the Wild are such an obvious match for Minecraft that someone even built the entire BOTW map last year, but it was just a base. Modders from another group added some Zelda gameplay to the map with a Sheikah slate with all its capabilities, a boomerang as well as Sheikah towers. If you're sick of creepers exploding all your hard work, you can offer them a taste of their own wrath with Link's remote detonate bombs.



PCGamesN has spotted that the Breath Of The Wild datapack was created in collaboration with modders Craiy and Joris. It's really cool.



The most obvious elements you'll encounter in your Minecraft world are the typical Bokoblin camps that dot the landscape and the slightly rarer Sheikah Towers designed to resemble the huge spires Link climbs across Hyrule. While fighting Bokoblins is a good first step, you must also be able to capture their Boko Stick clubs. However your next priority is to build ladders and climbing up to the top of a Sheikah Tower. lionsroar You'll then be able get the Sheikah multitool to destroy and start making destruction.



You can move and pick up metal blocks such as iron or copper using the magnesis function.



In reality, it would be quite cool to construct floating water bases that is only accessible with cryonis ice pillars, isn't it? I tried channeling my inner Link by dropping iron blocks on top of bokoblins but they simply swoop through them before landing on the ground instead of doing damage. Don't pretend I didn't attempt to make them suffer.



The boomerang and hero's tunic are scarce but worth looking for- especially the tunic which lets you check the health of an enemy's current position. Craiy will go over all of this and more in the mod showcase video below.



The current version is for Minecraft 1.19. However, Craiy claims that they are working on an update to the BOTW Datapack.



The creator of the stunning Breath of the Wild map last year decided to not release it to download. Instead, you might want to keep an eye out for the one being developed by Grazzy, which is what Craiy and Joris used to show off their datapack. It's not a good idea to combine them since Grazzy is building Sheikah towers on his own and the BOTW datapack is the one that generates the towers. You could even mix your Zeldas and the Wind Waker style that you can find on our top Minecraft texture packs.
