James Whitfield Thomson is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who was an early member of Andre Dubus's writer's workshop. He attended Harvard College on a scholarship and later earned a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. jameswhitfieldthomson.com during the Vietnam War. His first novel, The Ledge, was published in the fall of 2000. Since then, he has published numerous stories and received a Massachusetts Council on the Arts grant.
While living in Boston, Jim and his wife, Elizabeth, have been involved in the publishing industry. Their first novel, The Last Days of a Sister, was published by Sourcebooks Landmark in fall 2013. The author is currently writing a second novel, Jukebox King, which is based on the death of his sister in 1974. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his work. His writing has garnered widespread attention.
After his novel was published, Thomson has begun writing his second. His second novel, Jukebox King, is being developed for the screen. It is a story of a man who tries to save his sister and his daughter. Both novels have a similar plot, and Thomson hopes to make a film of Jukebox King in the future. The novel is the result of a childhood trauma and a difficult family relationship.
In the fall of 2013, Thomson published his debut novel, Jukebox King. The novel is based on the true story of his sister's death. It is a love story set in the 1960s and is set in a small town in Illinois. In fact, it is Thomson's third novel. It has been deemed a literary classic, and is set to be made into a movie. It will be out in 2019.
While the author is best known for his historical novels, Thomson's fiction is just as impressive. The novel's title - The Lost Boy - is a fictional account of a real-life story. Its setting is an isolated village in the middle of the Boston suburbs. During his high school years, Thomson's mother was a teacher and helped him get through college. His mother died of cancer at age three and he was forced to relocate to a rural town.
The novel was published by Sourcebooks in the fall of 2013. The book is based on Thomson's own experiences with death. He and his wife live in a Victorian farmhouse outside of Boston. Several of his novels have won awards. Among them are "The Dead Girl," which was the winner of the national short story contest in 2007. The novel is a satirical look at love and war. It also includes a number of fictional characters.
The novel is Thomson's debut novel. He lives in Naperville, Illinois, and is now working on a movie adaptation of the book. The novel was written by a man who grew up in an isolated village and was fascinated by the city. His love life was also fascinating, as he became a father and a husband. And now he is a father and a writer. He loves to read and loves to write.
Born in Pittsburgh, Jim Thomson attended Harvard and graduated with a B.A. in English. After earning his M.A., he then went on to study at the University of Chicago. After completing his Ph.D. in American Studies, he taught at the University of Miami and for a start-up in Atlanta. In 2006, Thomson received a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to write his first novel. His story, "Courage," is about a young man who becomes a man in the south.
Thomson lives in Naperville, Illinois. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have five children. Their house was originally a barn. In 2008, he wrote a novel based on his sister's tragic death. Currently, he is working on his second novel, "The Devil's Revenge." Both of them are active readers of Thomson's novels. They are both great reads. It is hard to find a better-written book.
Thomson was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He scored enough touchdowns in high school to gain admission to Harvard. After completing his undergraduate degree, he served in the military and fought in two tours in Vietnam. He completed his Ph.D. in American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and later taught at the University of Miami. He later worked for a start-up company in Atlanta. Today, he writes in a cozy Victorian farmhouse west of Boston.
