You may not be aware about me: I am an avid Minecraft addict. I usually play the Feed The Beast version with the boy, but we went back to the original Minecraft recently to try it out since it has numerous updates! One of my first vanilla projects was to design a stunning medieval-style house. It was something I had always wanted to do.
This medieval Minecraft house was inspired by a house I came across on the internet a few months ago (and cannot find it again to link it). I am in love immediately! It was the perfect size to accommodate everything I needed, once I had begun building it.
When I first started playing I would either use a town as a base or build multiple structures to house everything, but this house solves all those issues. Now everything is in One place, and it's as sexually attractive as all get out.
I have a second version of this house that I built in the spirit of survival. It took me about one day to build. I really suggest doing this one with creativity the time of two hours that way! :D
This medieval Minecraft home includes:
Full basement with furnaces, lots of storage for chests, a craft table, anvil space and access to a mining shaft. Main floor with plenty of chest room + space for a table
Second floor, fully functional enchantment table, room for potion brewing and room
- top floor with space for beds and armor stands, as well as a walk out balcony for sniping enemies in the morning
Optional stable accessory to keep your horses content close by
The texture packs in this tutorial are Chroma Hills RPG (during the building process) and Triton Core V2. Both texture packs are 64x and absolutely stunning. Dokucraft is a great choice for older computers with issues with 64x. It comes in a variety styles and looks stunning at 32x or 16x.
