The blood elf's capital is receiving the love it deserves.
World of Warcraft's Silvermoon City is getting a Minecraft overhaul, and images of this work-in-progress have been shown off by Reddit user Lillmy03.
Reddit thread (opens new tab) was discovered by Icy Veins (opens new tab) includes a screenshot showing the entrance to Eversong Woods of the blood capital of the elf, including the trees that surround the road that is raised as well as the gold trim around the large doorway. The flowers can be seen scattered across the smaller bushes on one side. Other shots include a map overlay, as well as the Walk of Elders, inside the city itself.
Making familiar landscapes that are similar to other games in Minecraft requires lots of planning (and patience). And Silvermoon City is difficult because you can't simply take a flight and get a good overview of the entire area.
But, that doesn't seem to put people off-Genshin Impact's Mondstadt (opens in new tab) was given the Minecraft treatment earlier in the year, and this Breath of the Wild map (opens in a new tab) is, well, breathtaking.
"It's still very raw and many details need to be added but it's getting there! Gonna take a while to finish the whole thing but." says Lillmy03. It's well worth the wait, I'm sure.
