Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away after an prolonged battle with stage four cancer His family announced his death today in a statement to the world and video.
Techno has previously revealed that he was diagnosed as having cancer in August. Techno has been updating his community periodically about his condition, and continues to receive treatment and creating content on YouTube.
In the video, posted on June 30th, Techno's father read an end-of-life message that was titled "so long nerds," that was written specifically for this occasion. It was filled to the fullest with the creator's trademark dark and sometimes humorous humor, but also acts as a final "thank to all who has supported the Minecraft star throughout the years.
"Thank you all for all your support for my work over the years. Technoblade would be my preferred choice if I had another 100 lives. Techno declared that they were the most joyful years of my life.
"I hope you enjoyed my content and that I was able to make some of you laugh. I wish you all long happy, prosperous, and happy lives. I love you guys. Technoblade out
Techno who is revealed to be Alex Techno, discusses how profits he earned from merch sales and other "sell-outs" in the last year is going towards his siblings who are attending college. He also thanked his viewers for letting him share such happy moments with them, while the slideshow of photos that show the various stages of his recovery is shown on screen.
In the wake of Techno's final message his father details the way he initially intended to write and record the video prior to his passing but his declining health and other factors kept it from taking place. His father said that he composed the message in the hospital and died eight hours later.
Technoblade's father said that Technoblade was "the most amazing child that anyone could ever wish for." "I really miss Technoblade. Thank you to all of you, for everything.
