Career transition

Benny the Butcher, one of the best rappers around, is now in a transitional phase. This is his first album of full length since Tana Talk 3 was critically acclaimed. The production by Hit-Boy is expertly tailored.

Benny is from Buffalo, New York. He is a member of the Griselda Records, along with Conway the Machine (and Westside Gunn) cousins. He has a distinctive lyric style and a raspy vocal, which has proven his value in vivid storytelling.

Along with his own projects, he's also collaborated on many other projects including T.I. Freddie Gibbs, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and even a track called "The Blueprint 2".

Benny has teamedup with Hit Boy, the multi-platinum music producer, to record his new album. While the collaboration is a great step forward for Benny it does mean that he sometimes drifts from his original identity. He is working to balance his style with the producer's.
Families and ties

Machine Gun Blak, Benny The Butcher's cousin is a well-known name when it come to Benny The Butcher Merch. He was the very first rapper to make an appearance on the Griselda Label, and he's still a significant name in hip hop. Then there's Westside Gunn, his rapper buddy.

Although he isn’t the only member who hits the gram every week, he has the greatest success. He has attracted a lot of attention since 2012's release and is now one if the hottest in the business. This is due to his incredible songwriting skills and his uncanny ability of working with a diverse range of top-notch producer.

Benny was a member Griselda, and has been a part a lot of some of rap's best releases over the last decade. Benny the Butcher Car Air Freshener Flygod, one of his most iconic projects, featured some sexiest and most memorable collabs.
Favorite songs

Benny the Butcher has yet to release his best new music. These songs are great, but that doesn't mean they are bad. Few songs stand out though, including "Guerrero", which is the title track to his upcoming WWCD album. Despite not having a major album release, the Buffalo native has left his fans content with his contributions towards the Griselda community.

Benny signed a contract to eOne for the album. While he still awaits his big break, the rapper isn’t content to rest upon his laurels. Recently, he donated proceeds from a limited-edition 'Pray for Buffalo' T-shirt to Buffalo 5-14 Survivors Fund. In April 2020, he plans to release a new ep in collaboration with the BSF Crew.
Tributes to DJ Shay

If you've been paying attention you might have heard about Benny The Butcher 'Tribute Project for DJ Shay'. He now has the tracklist.

The tracklist features songs by Conway the Machine as well as Westside Gunn. Elcamino (and LoveBat Luciano) also contribute to the tracklist. As a whole, this project is a tribute towards the late Buffalo producer and rapper.

DJ Shay died in 2020. Benny The Butcher continues his legacy by launching a new album. Long Live DJ Shay is his new album.

BSF members, Griselda Affiliates, and other musicians will contribute to this album. It will be Benny’s very first full-length recording since Tana Talk 4

Young Guru produced "Long Live Shay". He's worked on the project as well as several of Benny the Butcher's songs.
Death Serious hoodie re-release

Benny the Butcher (Griselda Records founder) has been in the music business for a long period. He's been involved both with the label and its siblings, the Black Soprano Family. Alchemist and Hit-Boy are two of his many collaborations.

LRG and Benny the Butcher re-release the LRG 'Dead Serious' hoodie. The 2006 release of this hoodie caused a lot a buzz and created a great deal of excitement. The unique design of the hoodie made it a big hit and has since been a staple in streetwear.

The original manufacturer has been credited for the design and helped to recreate the hoodie. It has a zip that can be opened in two places, a glowinthed skeleton graphic and other branding.
