Telescopic Telescopic Palletisers and Telescopic Crate DeStaker For Robotic Potato Processing
A state-of-the-art potato production facility employs state-of-the-art production technology and owns the entire production process. The company was looking to expand production and maximize production efficiency. To achieve this goal, Tasteful Selections partnered with Schneider Packaging Equipment, a Fanuc Authorized Systems Integrator. The OptiStak program from Schneider creates recipes for different pallet configurations.

Telescopic Crate DeStaker

Telescopic Crate DeStaker is an automated robotic device used in case packing. It can separate up to 480 crates in a half-hour. It reaches the top of the stack of crates and extends to place the empty stacks onto the infeed conveyor. It then moves on to the next pallet and completes the process.

Telescopic Bag Palletizer

The Robotic Potato Telescopic Bag Palletiser is a piece of potato processing machinery. It is equipped with a robotic arm that can handle 100% of the palletizing work. The arm is made of robust steel with characteristics that provide consistent resistance over time. Other optional features include automatic baling and pallet dispenser. A gripper is also included for capturing bags with high granularity.

This machine is capable of bagging and measuring tuber vegetables, making it very useful for continuous packaging. It also features anti-collision and anti-blocking devices to prevent materials from clogging. Another advantage is that it is electric, so no air compressor needs to be configured.

Telescopic Box Accumulation System

The Telescopic Box Accumulation System for robotic potato processing is a unique piece of robotic machinery that is designed to handle one pallet of boxes at a time. It has a large capacity, 90 ton, and is lined with UHMW for gentle handling and even flow of product. The system is also equipped with roller inspection tables, which are a vital piece of potato processing machinery. They are fitted with self-cleaning flip out rollers and cull chutes for easy product inspection. They also come with blue rollers and integrated light hoods.

The accumulation device according to the second embodiment has a substantially circular support plate 21 supported by a first rotation shaft 23. The support plate is rotatable about its first rotational axis L1 and is mounted downstream of a telescopic conveyor 30. The support plate aligns with a surface that is orthogonal to first direction X.

Telescopic Crate Palletizer

Telescopic crate palletizing systems are great for potato packers who require high-capacity palletizing. This robot-assisted solution uses an advanced tamping mechanism and extended panels to ensure optimum load stability. The system's modular components include inclined flighted conveyors and multi-lane conveyors. It also incorporates Telescopic conveyors that feed a manifold. A variety of bins can be used to feed different lines in the system.

The basic design of a Telescopic Crate Palletizer is relatively simple. A part of the Palletizer is mounted on a fixed base, and another part carries a beam, arm, and end effector assembly. These parts are connected to one another by servo motors, hydraulics, or chain drives. They then move in a horizontal plane by rotating or extending. Telescopic crate palletizers may feature two joints to allow for rotation and movement of the parts.
