WRUP: All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time to share a truth many MMO players aren't aware of: All DPS players are sharks. You might be wondering why so many DPS are addicted to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even an instant means they'll be dead. They must keep killing and swimming. This is the kind of thing MMOs can do to sharks. Don't think about how a shark is able to type or play the game. Just know that the rogue who does not wait for the tank or the healer or other DPS can't avoid doing what he does. He's a shark.



One of the Massively staff members might be a shark, but I'm unable to confirm or deny it. Perhaps he or she reveals his or his status as a shark in this week's WRUP, or perhaps it's just our usual review of our weekend plans as always. You'll never know until you've read the rest of the article, although you should share what you're doing in the comments section whatever the case.



@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely going to play more State of Decay. It's a fantastic game and easily is one of my top choices for single-player games of the year. For MMORPGs I'm experimenting with the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter I believe it is one of the best-looking and sounding MMOs currently available.



@nbrianna: I went back to World of Warcraft with a bunch of guildies, so I'll be leveling up some old toons and exploring some Pandaria dungeons I've never done. It's going to be enjoyable!



@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently my game of choice in my side slot, and although there are a lot of aspects that I'm still not satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, I have more Final Fantasy XIV questing and endgame shenanigans that I want to be a part of, so that will be my main goal.



@Sypster I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm in the pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep, so I'll probably run some more scenarios in The Secret World and perhaps try a little of this World of Warcraft thing the youngsters are so excited about these days.



@mvmatt: My plans for the weekend include soup, schoolwork and in the event of luck -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself of the reasons why it was shut down and to remember the wonderful things that almost forced me to stay until the servers end next month. Apart from that, I would love to get back into Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've neglected these games for quite a while. Perhaps, just maybe, I can stop some fools on Battlefield 4.



@MikedotFoster - This weekend I'll be checking out the Three Spirits Dota 2 Update. I'll also be returning to World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has made me all excited again.



@MJ_Guthrie: I plan to focus the majority of my gaming time (and I'll have some no matter what it is!) trying to get more done in the war on Filth in The Secret World. I want the pet and the bee suit so badly that I don't know how to get enough tokens. But I'll try! Did I mention I am stubborn? Minecraftservers When not engaged in that, I will be slipping into a scenario or two, and testing new builds. I will also be spending the weekend deciding which race to use for my first Channeler in EverQuest II. I've narrowed it down to Ratonga and Kerra. Once I have this, I will only require about 30 additional hours to tweak the look. The name is only the beginning.



@RichieProcopio - This weekend I'll be euphoric. I'm not attending an evening at a frat. I'll be in the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up too in Kessex Hills. Oh, and Hearthstone!
