Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on July 3rd, 1985. She was educated in London and Moscow and gained a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla launched IDEA in July of 2011. Leyla Aliyeva This campaign aims to increase awareness and promote the action needed to address environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as across the world. IDEA is geared towards youth and helps them find solutions for the environmental problems they face.

Leyla founded "Fly to Baku" in 2012 to be an exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The show, which was inaugurated in London was a tour of Europe's capitals which included Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva started the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign on May 8 in 2008. It marked the anniversary of the Shusha's occupation. In 2008, Leyla Aliyeva became the General Coordinator of the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and on April 18, 2009 she was elected as the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia - AMOR that supports Azerbaijani students and youth who reside in the Russian Federation. Leyla Ayla Aliyeva received the "Taraggi" award in July 2011, for her contributions toward the advancement of Azerbaijani Russian relations. In New York, the "Key To Life" award was presented to her in November 2011 to recognize her efforts in humanitarian initiatives that included children.

Leyla Aliyeva was honoured as the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador, on May 25, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva She received the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on October 20, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin brothers and one sister.
