Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born on July 3, 1985 , in Moscow was the first of two. She attended Moscow State Institute of International Relations in which she also studied in London. In July 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign, which aims to increase awareness and action for environmental issues in Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA is geared towards youth and helps them find solutions to the environmental challenges they confront.
In May 2007, she was elected as the representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of Russia. Through various projects that span education sciences, sports, and technology, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the nation's socio-economic growth. In 2011, she was named Vice-President of the Foundation.

In 2007 Leyla Aliyeva founded 'Baku' magazine in Moscow. It is an opportunity to learn more about Azerbaijani culture and art. Leyla was the creator of "Fly to Baku" an exhibition of contemporary art of Azerbaijan. The London-launched exhibition was a tour of Europe's capitals: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

Leyla Alyeva started "Justice for Khojaly" The campaign was launched by Leyla Alyeva to commemorate the anniversary the Shusha occupation. The campaign is currently running in more than 30 countries. Leyla Aliyeva The aim is to raise international awareness of Karabakh conflict and Khojaly Genocide.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in 2008. On April 18, 2009 Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the chairperson of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) that is a non-profit organization that supports Azerbaijani youth as well as those who live in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva was awarded the "TaraggiAward" in July 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the improvement of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. In New York she was also given the "Key to Life" award in November 2011, in recognition of her charitable projects with children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was named Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on the 20th of October, 2015.
