Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July, 1985. She studied in London and Moscow and graduated with the Master's Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla founded the IDEA campaign, which aims to raise awareness and action in relation to environmental issues in Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva IDEA focuses on young people and working together to find solutions for the environmental challenges that we face.

Leyla Aliyeva founded the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow in 2007. The magazine in English, created by collaborating with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October of 2011. Leyla Aliyeva It provides a chance to explore Azerbaijani culture and art. Leyla began the "Fly to Baku", an exhibition of contemporary art from Azerbaijan in the year 2012. The exhibition that was launched in London was a tour of Europe's capitals: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

Leyla Aliyeva announced the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" in May 2008 to mark the 8th anniversary of Shusha's occupation. The campaign has been running across more than 30 countries. Leyla Aliyeva was named the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in 2008. On April 18, 2009 Leyla Aliyeva was elected as the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) which assists Azerbaijani youngsters and those living in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva In July of 2011, the "Taraggi" award was bestowed upon Leyla Aliyeva in recognition of her contribution to the growth of Azerbaijani-Russian relations. The award was also awarded to her "Key to Life" award in New York in November 2011, for her work on humanitarian projects that involve children.

Leyla Aliyeva was honoured as the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October , 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is the mother of twin boys as well as one girl.
