Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born July 3, 1985, in Moscow. Leyla Aliyeva She attended school in London and Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla started IDEA in July of 2011. This campaign aims to raise awareness and encourage actions to tackle environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as across the world. IDEA is an initiative that focuses on the young generation, and works together with them to tackle our environmental challenges.
Leyla Aliyeva In May 2007, she was appointed as the representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the economic and social development of the country, by implementing diverse projects across education as well as public health, sport, culture, science, technology as well as the environment. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President.

Leyla Aliyeva established 'Baku Magazine' in Moscow in 2007. Conde Nast and Leyla Aliyeva collaborated to create the English-language version. The magazine launched at London's O2 in October 2011. The magazine lets you look into the art, culture and art of Azerbaijani as well as the country. Leyla started the "Fly to Baku", an exhibition of art and contemporary works from Azerbaijan in the year 2012. The London opening of the exhibition saw it travel all over Europe, visiting Paris, Berlin and Moscow along with Rome as well as Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva launched "Justice for Khojaly" campaign on May 8th the 8th of May, 2008. It marked the anniversary of the Shusha's occupation. This campaign is currently in operation in over 30 countries. The aim of the campaign is to increase global awareness of the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide. It is especially targeted at reaching out through online media, live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator in 2008. In addition, she was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18 in 2009. AMOR supports Azerbaijani young individuals and students in Russia. Leyla Ayla Aliyeva was awarded the "Taraggi" award in July of 2011 for her contributions toward the advancement of Azerbaijani Russian relations. In New York, in November 2011, she was awarded the "Key to Life Award" for her humanitarian efforts that involved children.

On May 25, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was designated UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.
